Come celebrate Women’s History Month with Betsy! We are delighted to introduce our friend Betsy to our book-loving community. She’ll read one of her favorite books about a very special girl. If you - or someone you know - is between the ages of 5 and 9, please join us for this first in our read aloud series. We’ll provide comfy seating and healthy snacks. All you need is your curiosity.

Betsy has been reading to and sharing a love of books with children for a very long time. As a teacher in Lakeland, she hosted many book clubs for parents and kids, as well as school-wide community reading events. Now she’s retired, in three book clubs, and still loves reading aloud with kids best of all.

No advance registration needed, but we do ask you to arrive a few minutes before 4:00 so that everyone can be ready when Betsy opens her book.
