Last month was so fun, we’re excited to participate in Ossining’s village-wide Community Crawl event once again! Stop by the store this Friday, May 6 and enjoy two sets of entertainers.
Beginning at 5:00 PM, come meet Jessica Paschkes, founder of Refillery.shop, our in-store pop-up featuring waste-free household products. Recently featured on the cover of Hamlet Living, Jessica is on a mission to rid households of single-use plastics and paper. Come start your kitchen makeover this Friday!
At 6:00 PM, we’ll kick off the evening with face painting for the younger set. Therese and Liz, from mizlizevents.com will create fantastic and phantasmic designs on your children’s faces . . . and maybe even yours. What do you have to lose?
At 7:30 PM, we bring you more comedic talent from the region. You’ll recognize the ladies - Gina, Laurie, and Vicki - from our first Community Crawl event. And this week, they’ll be joined by Matt, Steven, and Dimitri.
Laurie Newkirk's humor covers everything from emoji’s to anxiety to golf. She has performed at Caroline's on Broadway and many locations in Connecticut, including the Ridgefield Playhouse.
Vicki Sanches writes, performs and produces stand-up and sketch comedy shows. She’s an accomplished author of fiction and non-fiction books and short stories, blogs, essays and articles. Vicki is a co-founder of Sonic Boom Productions and Nights of the Round Table comedy workshop.
Gina Luongo O’Connell was born and raised in/around Westchester and now lives in Fairfield County CT. She loves dancing – even when there’s no music – though her greatest passion is making people laugh. Gina is employed full time in field sales and is a lot funnier than her bio.
Matt Orefice is 6’6”, which means he’s vertically gifted and has the stitches in his head to prove it.
Steven Mueller, organizer of all things, has played the Ridgefield Playhouse and other venues in and around the New York Metropolitan region.
Dimitri Giatrikis is a teacher by day and devilish comedian by night.
Come on by and have a laugh - on the house!
