Rescheduled from June 18! Vocal Recital Featuring Ossining Locals

Andrea Saposnik, Mezzo-soprano, and Rachel Levine, Soprano, with pianist Ken Cornielle

Come hear this special musical trio of Ossining residents perform arias, duets, and Broadway tunes! All three are professional musicians who live in Ossining. The program includes works by Brahms, Duke, Mozart, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and fellow Ossining resident Jim Cowdery.

Dr. Andrea Saposnik is a frequent performer and owner of the Andrea Saposnik Voice Studio (www.as-voicestudio.com) in Hastings-on-Hudson NY. She is also a certified yoga instructor and enjoys hiking and volunteering at SPCA Westchester.

Rachel Levine is a performer and owner of Brooklyn Voice Studio (www.brooklynvoicestudio.com). She has performed opera and classical music for 20 years. Rachel moved to Ossining last year and loves it!

Ken Cornielle is a recital pipe organist who has played the organ in the U.S. and Canada. He is also the music director, organist, choral director, and cantor at Saint Anthony’s Church in northern Yonkers. He formed an eight piece ensemble called Infinite Lights that plays exclusively Jewish music. As a composer, he has written extensively for Jewish and Christian liturgies. Since 2018, he has written 10 symphonies along with various pieces in the chamber music venue.

Tickets cost $10 pp; space is limited. Doors open at 5; recital begins at 6. Complementary light refreshments will be available.

For those who wish to have your name on a waiting list, please email amy@hvbooksforhumanity.com. Thank you.

NOTE: Because we anticipate a full house for this event, we ask everyone to wear a mask during the recital (except when you are eating or drinking). Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.
