Let's Play! Learn! Coach! All ages and levels welcome!

Whether you are new to chess, brushing up on your skills, or a master player, we invite you to come by the store any Tuesday (beginning August 8) from 3 to 5 PM and play with our resident “chess guru” Virginia Benedict. A long-time Ossining resident, Virginia not only loves to play the game, but she’s an experienced chess coach for all ages and levels of playing. She moderates two Facebook chess groups under the heading, “Chess Teachers and Learners.”

These sessions are free of charge, and chess sets will be provided. All you need to do is sign up ahead of time through Virginia’s Facebook group here.
