Support for Kids with Autism: Meet the Authors

Please join Hudson Valley Books for Humanity and The Bittermelon for this very special conversation about kids with autism and other neurodiverse conditions.

Dawn M. Barclay, an award-winning travel writer and author of the new book, Traveling Different, will share vacation tips for parents of neurodivergent children. Allison Park, M.A.Ed., author of Z is for Superhero, culturally-responsive educator, and proud mom to Superhero Zach, will help us understand the challenges faced by AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) families with neurodiverse children and will introduce us to the Blue Path service dog organization. There will be plenty of time for discussion and Q+A, as well as informal conversation with refreshments following the event.

This event is free, but we do require registration for planning purposes.
