Thomas Ray and Spoken Word Artists

Join us for a night of spoken word & rhythm and blues performances by 3x Publish Author, Spoken Word Artist, Host, Curator and Community Activist Tom Ray, featuring special guest performers.

Yonkers native Tom Ray began his artistry journey in 2005 performing at countless NYC venues. Tom Ray has also curated & hosted several open mics such as The Soulbox Open Mic in 2009, The Respect The Mic Open Mic in 2014 and is currently hosting a monthly open mic in Yonkers called The Family Affair Open Mic.

Tom Published his first book of Poetry - The Thoughts Of Ray From My Heart To Yours in 2012 and has since produced two additional books title P.A.I.N Progress After its Nemesis & The Thoughts of Ray The Sequel. Tom is an educator in The Yonkers Public School District and he is Teaching Artist currently in partnership with ARTS10566.

Tom will be joined by two guest artists who will each perform their own Spoken Word pieces.

We are delighted to welcome Tom and his guests to our humble stage. Copies of The Thoughts of Ray, The Sequel will be available for purchase ($20) and signing at the event.
