Jeannie Zusy Writing Workshop 

Join Jeannie for a six-week writing journey. Each session will include prompts, writing, sharing, and more. Fiction, memoir, free-form messiness, whatever you want to write. Bring a notebook and pen, a writing goal if you have one, and an open heart. Safe space, no judgement, positive vibes. At the end of workshop, you’ll have a notebook full of writing, perhaps a completed story, essay, poem, or the beginnings of something new and unexpected. 

Dates and Cost

Six sessions, mostly Thursdays, at 7 PM. April 6, 13, 25 (Tuesday), May 4, 11, 18.

About Jeannie

Jeannie Zusy’s work has been published by McSweeney’s, Off-the Shelf, Today, Purple Clover, and Smith & Kraus in their Best Plays by Women series. She wrote the screenplay for the award-winning short films Ladies Room LA and Board Game. Her novel THE FREDERICK SISTERS ARE LIVING THE DREAM was published by Atria Books/Simon and Schuster. Publishers Weekly called it a “powerful debut” and Real Simple named it one of the best books of 2022. (Hudson Valley Books for Humanity hosted Jeannie for her book launch in the Fall of 2022.) She has two young adult daughters and lives in New York’s Hudson River Valley with her husband and creatures.
